Regeneratively farmed, woman owned, pesticides never used on this virgin soil. Small batch, hand picked, farmed and pressed within hours of harvest.
Nestled high in Sta Rita Hills AVA, Somerset Vineyards is surrounded by olive orchards, and enjoys a microclimate distinguished by a concurrence of mild wind, gentle ocean mist and deep ocean beds that underlie this world-class terroir in Santa Barbara County. Regeneratively farmed and woman owned on virgin soil, no pesticides have ever been used on this no-kill Monarch butterfly preserve and orchard estate. Regenerative farming maximizes the sequestering of CO2 in the soil, helping reduce greenhouse gases and global warming. The olive trees symbiotically contribute to the health of the vineyards and produce an exquisite premium virgin olive oil that we fresh press. Our orchard blend of Manzanillo, Sevillano, Mission and Koroneiki olives has a fresh-cut-grass bouquet and buttery mouthfeel that are delectable from start to spicy finish.
